Whether you're looking to improve the appearance and functionality of your garage, upgrade your commercial facility, or create a stylish and hygienic environment, epoxy flooring is an excellent choice.

There is no cleaning with chemicals, the concrete is profiled with a concrete grinder equipped with a Diamond encrusted metal shoes. This profile creates a mechanical bond between the concrete & epoxy.

The walls from the skirting board to 1.8 meters high around the whole perimeter is lined with temporary drop sheets to prevent splashing on the walls.

There are two coats of 100% solids epoxy. One is neither the primer or finish coat. they are both one and the same unlike cheaper brands sold in places like Bunnings which is commonly 40% solids with 60% solvents giving you a much thinner & inferior product. To finish, a clear coat of polyaspartic or polyurethane is applied over the flake or single colour which is of the same quality 100% solids.

Costs are based on a square meter rate. Most defects are within the normal rate, however cracks and some exceptions might attract some additional costs. Another example is if there is large area lower than the rest on the substrate that needs to be filled with ceramic filler and re-grinded  or a separate water proofing moisture barrier needs to be applied. A good exampleo f this is to mitigate rising damp by Hydroscopicly pushing water away from the substrate.

It takes more time to do a single color that a flaked floor because a single colour you need to fill all the pin holes with epoxy putty so when the epoxy is applied you don’t get gassing or bubbles.
