Commercial epoxy flooring Sunshine Coast & Brisbane
Commercial epoxy floors for salons, cold rooms, mechanic sheds, retail stores and schools on the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane Northside: seamless, non-slip, chemical-resistant and easy to keep clean. We schedule around trading hours and can coat large areas over a weekend.
Floors for businesses across South East Queensland
We coat commercial and industrial floors from the Sunshine Coast to Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Typical jobs are mechanical workshops and service bays, cold rooms and food preparation areas, warehouses, retail and showroom floors, school and childcare spaces, and clinics. Each gets a system chosen for the traffic, chemicals and cleaning regime it will see, rather than one product for everything.
Mechanical workshops and service bays
Workshop floors take oil, brake fluid, coolant, dropped tools and jack wheels. We use a high-build epoxy with a chemical-resistant topcoat, usually a mid grey Classic Flake blend with yellow bay lines and marked walkways set into the floor under the topcoat so they cannot wear off. Hoist areas can be coated up to the hoist base plates.
Cold rooms and food areas
Cold room and food-preparation floors need a seamless, non-porous surface that can be washed down to food-safe standards, with a cove up the wall so there is no dirt trap at the junction. We use food-grade systems with anti-slip texture for wet areas, and can install in an operating cold room using low-temperature-cure products.
Salons, retail, education and healthcare
Salons, shops, showrooms, classrooms and clinics want a floor that looks good, is non-slip and cleans with a mop. A light Classic Flake blend or a Stone Flake finish gives a bright, seamless floor without grout lines or vinyl joins, usually installed in a day so the business reopens the next morning. For schools and childcare centres we use low-odour products and schedule work in holidays.
Working around your trading hours
Most commercial work is done overnight, over a weekend or in stages so the business keeps operating. We provide a written scope with the system specification, preparation method, program and cure times, and can coordinate with your other trades and your insurer where a safety data sheet or slip rating is required.
Preparation on commercial slabs
Commercial slabs are ground with dust-extracted diamond grinders, and old coatings, adhesives and contamination are removed completely. Joints are cut and filled, moisture is tested and, where a slab is damp, a moisture-mitigating primer is used. Preparation is written into the scope so you know what you are paying for.
